Social Media Assistant

Autozone UK LTD are looking to recruit a Social Media Assistant to join the team. A fantastic, exciting new opportunity for the right candidate to be directly involved in the marketing department of a fast-growing car dealership which generates leads through many channels, currently looking for the right candidate to expand and introduce new forms of marketing for lead generation. We work alongside many specialist finance companies and have a very unique product that defines us from a regular car dealership.


The Role

You will be working alongside the Marketing team to develop strong, unique and engaging content across our Social Media Channels consisting of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.

On a daily basis you will assist other members of the team being on camera presenting new stock, reviewing vehicles and taking part in other digital media campaigns for the company.

You will help manage, support and develop social media activities alongside the Marketing team, standing out from the crowd.

You will help maintain and expand our social media presence through targets, goals and individuality.

A knowledge of vehicles is not mandatory as full training and ongoing support will be given.


Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars, and be knowledgeable in the industry. As you will be representing our Companies you will be professional at all times whilst executing only the best social media campaigns.

You will assist in the growth of the company and have a genuine passion for your role at Autozone.

As Autozone already holds a strong reputation within the Automotive Industry, mainly in Yorkshire, you will assist in exceeding this presence across the country.

You will support all social media activities, whilst bringing new creativity to the team.

You must possess excellent communication skills alongside confidence and a strong work ethic. You must be able to work well in a team and alone.


Key skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Social media knowledge
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work alone or in a team
  • Working to strict deadlines
  • Creativity delivering new ideas
  • A passion and knowledge for cars would be advantageous but is not mandatory to fulfil the role.
  • Producing statistics and report campaign results

As you will be a key part of the growth within the company you will hold a professional and positive attitude whilst demonstrating excellent Marketing and Social Media skills. You will need to be highly organised with the ability to prioritise your workload.

A portfolio of previous work would be beneficial at the interview stage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Starting from £17,000.00 depending on experience.
